We’ve been seeing it a lot these days in Pakistan – brands using bloggers to create a strong word of mouth for their campaign / product online. What we see less frequently though is the actual appreciation of these bloggers on a brand’s owned platforms.
One brand that has adopted the approach to appreciate and promote its bloggers is Kapray. The recent launch of its outlet was covered by a number of bloggers – live tweets, posts, instagram shares were all made. But at the same time, the brand made sure to cover and appreciate the posts made by the bloggers as well. How? By sharing their blog links on Kapray’s own Facebook page.
We’ve all gotten tokens of appreciation by brands, be it their products, free tastings, customized accessories etc and that too is a form of appreciation in itself – but actually acknowledging bloggers on its own platform is yet to be explored by many brands.
Today we see hundreds of brands offline and online vying for the attention of bloggers and its often hard to stand out from the crowd. Kapray’s efforts to acknowledge and appreciate the people that put in an effort to create their awareness is appreciable and there is no doubt we may see many other brands in Pakistan follow this practice in the future too.
Kapray’s online presence is being managed by a new agency in the market called The Digital Factory.
